Common questions

Do I need an OpenRouter account?

Yes, on both plans, and it is deliberate. You add your own OpenRouter key in the dashboard and choose which model answers your visitors. AI usage bills to you at cost, with no Sondo margin on top of it.

What counts as a page of Knowledge Base?

A page is about 2,000 characters of text, roughly one printed page. A short help article is a page or two, a long one is a handful, and the dashboard shows how much of your allowance you have used.

Are conversations really unlimited?

Yes. Neither plan meters conversations, and there is no per-conversation charge. A plain fair-use clause in the Terms covers automated abuse, which is the only thing it exists for.

Can I switch plans or cancel?

Any time, from your account, in the Stripe billing portal. Cancelling stops the next charge and your widget stops answering when the paid period ends. Your workspace, your Knowledge Base and your conversation history are kept.
